A little heads up before I post it to the community… Senator Tan Parker and Representative Richard Hayes are lined up to come to Harvest and do a non-political Town Hall, Q&A, meet and greet. It’ll be Wednesday 10/16 at 7:30pm.

Venue is TBD. It came together quickly and Tim and Page feel they need HOA board approval to host them in one of the indoor spaces. If they don’t approve, it’ll probably end up being at the Front Porch.

Civic engagement is very important to me and I’ve really tried to peel back the curtain for folks. My intention is to continue to coordinate with current elected officials to hold informational Town Halls just for our residents. Where we can listen to what they’re up to and ask questions. Admittedly, a lot depends on attendance for this one. If we get good attendance we’ll likely get more attention from them and other elected officials in the future. So if you are in other Harvest groups or social circles, please spread the word.  I’ll be posing about it on the Events page and the Residents page this evening.

I plan to kickoff the event by discussing the Belmont Districts and what they do. I’d love to introduce members of both Belmont District boards. So let me know if you plan to attend. If more than two of us do attend, ABHR will need to post notice of potential quorum.
