Also, does anyone have any heartburn with setting the meeting room up long-way? Same as how the room was set up two years ago but flipped so that people can come and go quietly out of the main doors. 

First, with us sitting all in a row it’s a strain to look at each other and have conversations. The old layout had our board tables more in a half-moon shape so we were looking at each other and it made conversation easier.

Second, it would allow space for the consultant’s tables to be closer to us. I think having them next to the audience has contributed to members of the audience feeling they can participate in the dialogue. Belmont 2 has already taken the step of moving the consultant tables in between the board and the audience.

David may be the only current board member to have not seen the long-way layout I’m speaking of. But I didn’t want to give direction to flip it in August as a trial if there was any objection. We originally changed away from that layout to our current one because one attendee stated they had trouble hearing us once.
